Dear Mrs Wright,
Re: The Financial Affairs of Mr Frederick Andrews.
Further to your recent letter, please find enclosed the file you kindly supplied.
I am sorry to have to say that our enquiries to date have made no progress. It seems very difficult to get any answers to our questions. In order that we do not hold you back I am returning your file, and have taken the liberty of making photocopies of some of the relevant material so that we can continue to make further enquiries on your behalf.
If we come up with anything new or relevant we will of course get in touch with you. Meantime I am sorry that we have not been able to bring any success to the matter, to date.
Dr John T Alderdice
[What efforts did Alderdice make and from whom did he make his 'enquiries'? The reason I wrote to him was because he was/is a psychiatrist and I naturally thought he could give me some advice. Was Alderdice more concerned with his position in the Alliance Party than with Freddie?]
