Dear Mrs. Wright,
IN THE MATTER OF FREDERICK ANDREWS - 1978 No 516
Thank you for your letter of 7 August which I received yesterday.
After careful consideration of the matters which you have raised I do not find any new point upon which I can usefully comment. Every effort was made at the meeting on 24 June last to clarify any features of the case about which you or other members of the Patient's family might have legitimate concern but I indicated both to you and to your solicitor, Mr Shannon, that I wish to avoid re-opening issues which have already been resolved to the satisfaction of the Judge.
[You don't have to tell me, Mr. Hall, just how much you "wish to avoid re-opening issues". I am very well aware why you DARE not re-open those issues. You have not only disinformed the Judge by being completely economical with the facts of this case and also with the truth, but in doing so you have interfered with the course of justice by ignoring the findings of the RUC fraud squad and kept them from the Judge.]
I am sending copies of your letter and of this reply to Mr Shannon for reference.
