A letter from solicitors Madden & Finucane to solicitors Tughan & Co dated 27/9/1995.

Dear Sirs,

Re: Freddie Andrews (junior)

We act on behalf of Mrs. Eileen Wright, a sister of the above named.

As you know, there has been considerable press speculation and public interest relating to the affairs of Mr. Andrews. In order for us to properly advise Mrs. Wright we will require to consider all files or documents in your possession which relate to your representation of the Andrews family both before and after the death in 1972 of Mr. Andrews (senior).

Mrs. Wright is anxious to establish how the affairs of her family were handled by your firm, particularly when such representation led to the conviction for fraud by Mr. Herbert Wright, a solicitor in your firm. The fraud related directly to property owned by the Andrews family.

Perhaps you would let us know that it is in order for us to carry out an inspection of the documents in question and to take copies if necessary, otherwise it may be necessary to apply to the Court for an appropriate order.

Yours faithfully,
