I was very interested in the article in the Belfast Telegraph on November 23 regarding mental patients.
Presenting the Northern Ireland Mental Health Commission's first report, Mr B. Kerr QC., said he was aware that many of the public did not know the monitoring body existed.
We, the family of a patient, did know of the existence of this body and appealed to them for help over a year ago.
Could we be given a reply by the Commission as to why our request for a meeting at Holywood Road, regarding the mismanagement of the patient's affairs got a curt refusal?
