A letter from solicitor Francis Crilly to me dated 15/5/1986.

Dear Madam,

I refer to your letter of 13th inst. The Disciplinary Committee, of which I am Secretary, is constituted to deal with complaints against Solicitors who are alleged to have been guilty of misconduct including conduct tending to bring the Solicitors profession into disrepute. The Committee do not have any powers of investigation themselves and, in any event, have no jurisdiction to investigate Court proceedings or the work of Court Offices. I regret therefore that the Disciplinary Committee would have no function in relation to your brother's affairs.

Yours faithfully,

Francis Crilly.
